The Greedy Fox Smokey Steak Mushrooms on Toast with Fried Duck Egg

Serves 2, easily doubled for more.

 

Ingredients

 

Pack of Chestnut Mushrooms around 250gr, chopped into Quarters

1tbsp Smokey Steak Seasoning

1 Duck egg, or any large free range egg

A couple of slices of your favourite Toast.

1tbsp olive oil/ or a few sprays of your low fat alternative.

 

Method

 

Toast the  bread, then set aside.

Heat a large frying pan with the olive oil or heathy alternative. 

Add the mushrooms and The Greedy Fox Smokey Steak seasoning, cook over a high heat for 3-5 mins until cooked through but still have a bite.

Heat a non stick frying pan and oil or healthy alternative fry the egg until cooked to your desired liking, we like ours over easy.

 

Top the toast with the mushrooms then the egg, season the yolk with salt and black pepper.

 

Serve with your favourite morning beverage.
